Fear
Why do you get scared when you are alone in a room, and you feel someone is watching you? Why does a black cat staring at you make you shiver? Why does the sound of thunder make you whimper?
Why does the shadow of the tree out your house makes you bite your nails? Why do you have your heart in your mouth when you hear footsteps at night? Or you feel you're being watched by someone when in dark?
Okay. What if I tell you there's someone behind you, floating in the air with a smile on his face. His black eyes reading every single word you're reading now. He's smiling though... maybe he's happy. Don't turn back because he finally hit a jackpot.
Now, Imagine. No, don't imagine. He might peer into your imagination and make you run mad. All the same, just imagine.
Imagine yourself all alone in a castle. A very big castle that has been deserted for years. Turn around. What do you feel? The blood dripping down. The cobwebs all over the place Now stop!
The castle is smiling at you. It feels good having you in it. Once you show any ounce of fear, you're gone. Smile. Yes, smile as you open your mouth and let the spittle from the man above drop into it.
Now, STOP.
FEAR. That's right. You were scared and almost peed in your pants. The Fear of the unknown made you scared while you saw yourself in the castle. Dirty. Smelling.
Fear; It's eating deep into our soul. You fear what the society has to say, that's why you behave the way it wants.
You fear rejection, that's why you can't tell anyone what you're feeling deep down.
Oh, fear. You can't face what your parents will say to you, when they find out you failed that test or you didn't reach the mark you should. So, you change your mark.
That being behind you is still watching from afar. Do not show him you're scared. Smile a smile of victory. Yes!
Fear is a disease, a deadly one. The only thing you have to do is to face your fears and never run away from it.
